Re: Hardware PPD list
Hello, I have a Quadro P5000 on my HP ZBook 17 G4. Running on Linux Ubuntu 18.04 with the FAHCore_x22 client, I get around 530K PPD, all default (no overclocking, no power-limiting, etc). Depending on how warm the weather is, I have to put a table fan blowing directly on top of the machine, or else ...

Re: GPU still not supported for folding on MacOS client?
Hello @Joe_H, thanks for the great explanation (specially the "C" vs "G" part), now everything makes sense. Too bad, I was hoping there were some "hidden" way for me to get my Mac GPUs here contributing to F@H -- but now I understand this is not the case :| It would be ...

Re: Stuck sending results 13.82.98.119
@PantherX, thanks for the excellent, detailed response. ...@PantherX, why does that happen? Like the other WU I lost last week, this particular client runs on a HP Professsional machine, sporting a Xeon with ECC RAM and a Quadro P5000 GPU, and on Linux (no crappy Windows here), so I'm pretty sure th...

Re: Stuck sending results 13.82.98.119
Good news is that I have just received confirmation that the issue should be resolved for 13.82.98.119 so hopefully, your completed WU will be accepted soon. We appreciate your patience during this :) Thanks for the feedback, @PantherX. Yes, looks good now. I restarted my clients, and all my backlo...

Re: Stuck sending results 13.82.98.119
Hello @PantherX, Thanks for the explanations. Just a small matter: Another question: the server status page is showing this particular server has been down for over 8 hours already. What's the big deal with bringing it up? As it is a cloud server, isn't it supposed to be able to be brought back in a...

Another question: the server status page is showing this particular server has been down for over 8 hours already. What's the big deal with bringing it up? As it is a cloud server, isn't it supposed to be able to be brought back in a matter of minutes (at least it is so with AWS -- Azure probably is...

Re: Stuck sending results 13.82.98.119
A Collection Server may be defined for a project as an alternate place to upload to if the Work Server is unavailable. It has to have been defined at the time a WU was downloaded. Thanks for the info, @Joe_H. My client is just trying the server at 13.82.98.119 over and over again, without trying an...

Hi Neil,
Thanks in advance for any clarification,

What exactly means "having a CS"?Neil-B wrote:https://apps.foldingathome.org/serverstats is showing an uptime of minutes for that server and it has a CS so hopefully it has just been restarted to resolve the issue you are having.
Thanks in advance for any clarification,

Hello @FoldingStorm,
Azure?! Eeech :-/ Coming from Microsoft, the makers of the most unstable OSes ever (Windows and its ilk), this doesn't surprise me at all...I mean it's an Azure server, that shouldn't be down like ever...

Re: Quadro 5000 GPU's
Hello @PantherX, Welcome to the F@H Forum durval, Thanks! :-) Please note that the feature of gpu-power isn't functional. Weird! I was pretty sure I saw more responsiveness from mostly-graphical apps (like web browsers) in my system when I changed it down from its default of 100. Placebo effect, per...

Re: GPU still not supported for folding on MacOS client?
Hello @PantherX, Thanks for your response! More questions/comments below: Please note that it is a copy/past issue made by the researches while setting up the project descriptions. Uh?! How so? Aren't these stats calculated automatically? It is known and will be fixed eventually. I've been seeing th...

Re: Quadro 5000 GPU's
Hello,
I have a Quadro P5000 here, and I get 82918 PPD (could get more, but I have manually set gpu-power=90 to avoid it totally sucking up my GUI performance)
Cheers,

Re: GPU still not supported for folding on MacOS client?
As per my comment on github: github.com/openmm/openmm/issues/2489#issuecomment-612541232 Folks, there's something wrong; according to Folding@Home's own "OS Stats" page, there are exactly 65 MacOSX active AMD GPUs right now: https://imgur.com/download/EPRu2kU How come?! Whatever it is that...
