I'm running FAH 7.6.21 on Ubuntu 20.04 and the commands "systemctl stop FAHClient" and "systemctl restart FAHClient" are still borked. Also happens on previous versions.
I installed the new beta version on my computer (Ubuntu 20.04) and was subsequently unable to fold because there was no GPU slot and neither was I able to configure one. I click Save and my configuration is being discarded. https://imgur.com/idPSr67.png *********************** Log Started 2020-08-14...
The problem must be the cookies or the cache and, yes, usually I use FAHControl. Ocasionally I use WebControl to learn what kind of WU I'm crunching and what is its purpose. The links in FAHControl don't work anymore.
Update: It seems to be the cache or cookies. I cleared them both, now it's good. OK, it happened again. The window keeps refreshing... https://imgur.com/FKwYLpY.png 17:03:50:WU01:FS01:Running FahCore: /usr/bin/FAHCoreWrapper /var/lib/fahclient/cores/cores.foldingathome.org/Linux/AMD64/NVIDIA/Fermi/...
My two cents: I use Linux and Chromium as a browser and I have the same problem. It doesn't manifest itself with every WU but now and then it happens. The windows keeps refreshing every second. Then comes the next WU: no problem at all. *********************** Log Started 2019-07-21T08:41:34Z ******...
The major change in the compiler version indicates a distribution upgrade on the part of the developer so I was wondering. Usually newer compilers provide for better support of optimization - yes, even if GROMACS is already highly optimized.
Looks OK to me, but the link to the current project still doesn't work in the GUI. Same goes for for "Work Server" and "Collection Server". Would it be possible to grey out the button "Viewer" if fahviewer ist not installed? I don't care much about visualization that is...
