Why is this so complicated? According to my log, FAH already see's this as an unknown AMD gpu. In my original post I provided all the requested info -device name, device id and FAH log. According to GPU-Z this a Cezanne chip GFX9 (gfx90c). As far as the cpu, it has been folding since I installed FAH...

Problem solved. One bad 8 pin connector to 0ne gpu. All 4 gpus back to working well again.

Removed 3 of 4 folding slots. 1 gpu works fine. Enabled 2nd slot works fine. Enabled 3rd slot and recreated same problem. Evidently, I have a gpu going bad. Will need to weed out which one and get back to at least 3 gpus folding. Might be the motherboard is acting up also. Thanx for all the help.

I run 4 1080tis. Starting having problems, then I noticed Iwas getting fahcore 22 projects. This causes the gpu to basically lose its identity. I have experienced this error. Whether in Windows or Linux. The folding software is folding fine. The error is in the control panel software. Win10 does automatic updates and might have updated your video driver. These drivers usually do not work well with folding. You might want to check which version you are using. or folding, you always want the driver from Nvidia.
