Re: Stats server issue?
Appreciate the info and the heads up - I'm guessing this will be a quick/simple fix and the system will be back online Monday or Tuesday, assuming this isn't some "exotic" drive.

Re: 54.157.202.86 not assigning WUs
This problem started for me last night too... to the point that it was actually getting COLD in the room overnight LOL. I knew my GPU's weren't folding. I restarted the client this morning around 9AM and it began folding again on all slots. Unfortunately they've been dormant again for the last few h...

Copy that - I've got the same running right nowbikeaddict wrote:The last two WUs assigned were for Moonshot project 13454.
All is well here too. Hopefully it was just a temporary glitch.superpan wrote:All GPUs back up to operating temperature

Re: can't get new wu from all assignment server
Throughout today I'm seeing "Empty work server assignment" in my log from 18.218.241.186:80 and 65.254.110.245:80. At the moment I have one out of four GPU's folding, the rest are sitting idle.
Not sure if this is a related problem.

Re: Hardware PPD list
Anybody rocking a RTX Titan want to chime in with some PPD numbers? Should be around 2.8 to 3M given the extra cores compared to a 2080 Ti.

Re: Open Advanced control on start
Agreed, "--open-advanced-control" would be a welcomed option. ^^^ +1 to that recommendation. Recently I needed to go back to 7.4.4 from the current release because basic stuff like buttons wouldn't work in Advanced Control, making configuration impossible. I understand why -open-web-contr...

Re: URL For Donations to F@H
Has any individual or company considered donating actual hardware (servers/racks/PDU/UPS/switches) etc... or upgrading the gear F@H is already using? Not saying I have $650,000 burning a hole in my pocket, but maybe somebody out there knows a guy who knows another guy who knows a really generous guy...

Rolling back to 7.4.4 :(
So I made the plunge to upgrade to 7.5.1 a few weeks back. Folding has been going the same, but I noticed several problems when getting inside the Advanced Control. - The Configure, Preferences and Exit buttons would frequently fail to work. - When trying to configure a CPU or GPU slot the edit/remo...

Re: Trouble getting F@H to start
I'd agree with your guess that it's a driver issue. Unfortunately you didn't post the first couple of pages of the log where it shows which driver version you're running. (See below.) I'm happy running 430.86, though if you are a gamer, you probably are on a later version. You won't lose the log .....

Trouble getting F@H to start
Not sure if this falls under client issue or GPU WU issue. I had a funky crash again on my rig and after restarting I am stuck in a loop of download WU then error out then download WU and repeat. It's affecting only the GPU slots, but all four of them fail to start. I have so far tried restarting F@...

Re: Should F@H abandon CPU folding?
I've been thinking about this question for a while now but was wondering where to post - will BIGADV ever return as an option for CPU slots? It was understandable to get rid of it a few years back, but CPU's have long gone past quad core and even 12 cores. For a modern server running dual Rome chips...

Re: FAHControl is not showing PPD with QRB, only base point
I'm seeing what appear to be the right numbers for PPD and Estimated Credit from WU's coming from 128.252.203.10 and 155.247.166.220. I don't have anything at the moment from 128.252.203.4. It certainly appears that FAHControl has been fixed, at least based on how my system is performing the last 24...

Re: Not Getting desired points from Project 14180 WUs
Tricky yes because even if one card is bad (highly unlikely), it doesn't explain why system wide my PPD is performing below where it should and turning in fewer WU, and why WU coming from the other work server run absolutely fine. But I am curious as well as to why the ETA in these projects is being...

Re: Not Getting desired points from Project 14180 WUs
clEnqueueReadBuffer (-5) indicates that the GPU in question cannot handle the data being fed to it. Perhaps you are overclocking too much ... perhaps your PCIe subsystem is incapable of servicing the device promptly enough. Perhaps something is overheating. The fact that WU04 was able to complete 1...

Re: Not Getting QRB from Project 14180 WUs
This is what I have for you. The cards are identical all running in x8 mode with plenty of CPU to feed them. I have no other programs open on the desktop. One thing I did come across while skimming over my log was a couple of faulty project errors for 14180 and 13815. *********************** Log Sta...
