Re: Getting rejected by assignment server (GPU)

...The only real difference here is that you have nothing worth stealing... Maybe not worth stealing, as the eventual results are to be given away for free. But a malicious person or group may exist and may have other motivations, such as to prevent research of this nature, for no other particular ...

Re: Client banned after as a result of 7.3.6 troubleshooting

Now it's downloading. Absolutely no changes on my end. The servers must have thought I was throttling too much. About 10 installs/uninstalls. About 8 discarded WUs. The first three were almost done too. Before is when it kept getting assigned to nonexistent server as previously mentioned. There was ...

Client banned after as a result of 7.3.6 troubleshooting.

Using warp9pnt9, it connects to the assignment servers and sends me to an IP for a nonexistent server 171.64.122.137. If I use another name, I get a work unit. Unban this so I can process data. I reverted to 7.2.9 which worked flawlessly for me. My work units got corrupted in the process and have al...

Re: GeForce 306.23 may be causing BSOD on GTX480

ASUS Sabertooth mainboard BIOS has had several updates over the past few months which state "Increase CPU stability" as one of the changes. I speculate that they may have made a change that caused problems, and tried to fix it. That would explain why the F@H on the CPU (AMD FX-8150) was fa...

Re: latest working nvidia driver

Running nVidia GeForce driver 310.90 here for a few days now. For some reason, my 2x 480 GTX GPUs are running almost 10C cooler, there's hardly any screen stuttering or freezing when moving, resizing or minimizing or maximizing windows, normally this would be so bad as to make the system unusable, w...

GeForce 306.23 may be causing BSOD on GTX480

Can anyone else confirm this? System is running Win7 64-bit. System ran fine on the old 301.24 and 301.42 drivers. System runs fine when doing other things now, but consistently hangs within 15 seconds of starting Folding@Home, and BSOD 5s afterwards. It's either my recent GeForce 306.23 driver upda...

129.74.85.15-16 keeps failing upload at 96-99%

This started sometime overnight, and for the past 4 & 1/2 hours the upload has been failing (2 times shown below, 11 total, truncated due to post size restrictions). It bounces back and forth between 129.74.85.15 and 129.74.85.16. I've included a hand scrubbed log file for this work unit and fol...

Re: User page stats hiccup

I wasn't sure exactly what way was best to report such errors. If there is a better way, let me know. Also, is this phpBB software able to whitelist locations to allow during the probationary anti-spam period? A simple regular expression syntax would be ideal to ensure a static base address and vari...

User page stats hiccup

Error occured at about 10:00-10:05 EDT while reloading page. Second reload worked fine. Maybe it was just the db updating. Just sending it along as the error message suggested. There was an error accessing/using the database. Description: error opening wwwrun@vspdb5.stanford.edu:stats Please send th...
