User page stats hiccup

Post by warp-9.9 »

Error occured at about 10:00-10:05 EDT while reloading page. Second reload worked fine. Maybe it was just the db updating. Just sending it along as the error message suggested.

Code: Select all

There was an error accessing/using the database.
Description: error opening wwwrun@vspdb5.stanford.edu:stats
Please send this error message and the conditions under which it was caused to the F@H researchers.
Thank you.
P.S. I can't properly submit the location as this is my 1st post on 0th day. I am glad for the anti-spam measures, but seriously, the project should whitelist itself.

Welcome aboard the forum, warp-9.9!

Thanks for the report, perhaps someone will open a hailing frequency to the PG across subspace and report the incident. :) Since a refresh solved the problem, I bet things are fine.
F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.

I wasn't sure exactly what way was best to report such errors. If there is a better way, let me know.

Also, is this phpBB software able to whitelist locations to allow during the probationary anti-spam period? A simple regular expression syntax would be ideal to ensure a static base address and variable user portion of the location.

It is also ridiculous that I can't even say the acronym for Unicorn Rescue League. :p
