Good to know. The option was in the client at least back in March (looking at some other thread). Is this something to look for soon? Or maybe not for a while?

Thanks, 7im. Any idea how choosing a specific cause could impact your WU variety and/or PPD? Is it possible that one cause is using mainly one type of WU? Are the different types of WUs balanced out enough in points that it shouldn't matter?

Thanks! The GPU i did must have been FahCore_17, because I started receiving bonus points on my 11th WU. The GPU was a bit too much heat for my room, so I shut it down after the first WU. But running 7/8 CPU cores is now getting me about 11,000 PPD. I am now up to page 6 of my team and in the top 10...

I tried both the Windows SMP client a 4 single clients and the best performance by far was with 2 VMs running the linux SMP client. I have not used VMware yet, but I understand the concept - virtual machine = software running an environment that you load another OS into and use just like another PC...

Wow! So, from what I've gathered, you need one CPU for every GPU you want to run.
