Re: point system is getting ridiculous...
Added PPD/Watt and a non-overclock 24way example (estimated TPF and power consumption -- others feel free to correct). An interesting item on the data you've shown is the Points/Watt is better for the larger 160 core system than the 24 core system, so if electricity costs for systems running 24x7 do...

Re: point system is getting ridiculous...
Below is machine cost data with a simple points per $. Retail pricing as well as a hypothetical deep discount, with points per day for each $ spent. The estimated power consumption is also listed, but no ongoing cost calculated. The TPF for the 160way system is estimated based on prior published per...

Re: Project:6900 (Run 42 Clone 13 Gen 37)
Ditto for me, sorry for duplicate post. This WU keep crashing the core immediately upon starting. Machine has been trying this Wu for 15hrs now. MAchine specs:- 2 x x5670 at stock, 6gb corsair xms3 1333 also at stock running win7 x64. Machine has been stable for the last month or so. Is anyone else ...

Project: 6900 (Run 42, Clone 13, Gen 37) faulting
Faulting a few seconds into the WU on otherwise stable system. Reproduced about 12 times. Looks like no new work to pickup as well. Project: 2692 (Run 1, Clone 27, Gen 79) faulting
Faulted at 0%. Non-overclocked system with ECC memory. Unfortunately, I didn't capture the WU for diagnostics before clicking OK to dismiss the dialog. Client didn't try to pull this WU again (over a day passed before I noticed this). [07:35:09] Project: 2692 (Run 1, Clone 27, Gen 79) [07:35:09] [07...

Not applicable -- see PM as of a couple minutes ago for much more detail.

By policy, we ether wait for multiple uploads or reports from multiple people. That's why we often say "marked for followup"

Re: Project: 6901 (Run 14, Clone 20, Gen 2) faulting
I'd say 99% of the faults I have seen were at 0%. I had a few in the early days of setting up an SR-2 system, but those are long gone. I can see something if the client send some results (even partial). But with the error you got, nothing is reported since it deletes the WU (and partial results if i...

Re: Project: 6901 (Run 14, Clone 20, Gen 2) faulting
Can you see all fault reports in the database? Is there a threshold of fault counts such that units will get pulled out of rotation (for investigation) automatically?

Project: 6901 (Run 14, Clone 20, Gen 2) faulting
This work-unit faults nearly immediately, several times in a row before the client pulled a 6900. This is a stable machine. Re: Project: 2686 (Run 9, Clone 2, Gen 21) missing stats?
I don't think I was touching client.cfg at all, so it's not clear how that would have been wiped. Anyway to get this credit/points? It should be pretty obvious it was from me. Thank you. It is pretty obvious you managed to wipe your user name and team number from the configuration. Several startups ...

Re: Project: 2686 (Run 9, Clone 2, Gen 21) missing stats?
Below is the full log from this work unit -- this includes the initial session restarting with another work unit (6041), the 2686 unit, and then the start of another work unit (6067). Interestingly, the "User name" line re-appears in the restart of the 6067 unit, but is clearly missing in ...

Re: Project: 2686 (Run 9, Clone 2, Gen 21) missing stats?
Hmm, that's odd -- the username line is ommitted before the final run initiates. I didnt' change the config here -- just restarted with -smp 24 added after CTRL-C the prior session. However, the User ID is the same as specified when the run starts, and all the runs since have the username line prese...

Project: 2686 (Run 9, Clone 2, Gen 21) missing stats?
I don't see these stats (including bigadv bonus) for this. I had plenty of WU's posted before starting the below. Work started on Sep-16, and finished Sep-18, with successful submission of results sep-18 concluded at 19:06:51. Log excerpt posted below. Note I started the run with 12 threads, and res...
