Re: GPU WUs taking much longer than expected
Welcome to the F@H Forum bana400, As stated, it is a known issue and Nvidia is aware of it. However, there's no ETA as to when it will be fixed. As bruce mentioned, a fresh installation of only the drivers from here: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us# would do the trick :) You ca...

Re: Could not get an assignment
Welcome to the F@H Forum citj57c105pa, Please note that ARM support is only on FahCore_a8 which is a relatively new FahCore so it will take a while until more Projects are released on FahCore_a8. Moreover, given the diversity of computing power that FahCore_a8 can support (from ARM to multi-socket C...

Re: Kicked out of FAH?
It could be that your configuration wasn't saved in Linux which is why it didn't appear while your configuration was present and saved in Windows. Can you please post the log file? Ensure you include the first 100 lines which will inform us of what the system configuration is and what the client set...

Re: Strange warning: No openc-device specified; using deprec
BTW, can you please post the first 100 lines from your log file? In theory, if you're using the latest client version (V7.6.21), then that message shouldn't be printed unless you have something specific in your configuration which can be now be removed. Just wondering, was this a fresh install or an...

Re: Optimization
Please note that FAHBench hasn't been updated to use FahCore_22 optimizations/code. Thus, I would personally avoid using it as it uses FahCore_21 optimizations/code which is no longer widely used. When it comes to GPU optimization, your focus is to lower the noise since the system is close to your b...

Re: project:17435 run:0 clone:1286 gen:36 failing on v7.4.4
Generally speaking, a cause of that could be a faulty disk drive since it is reading the checkpoint data to resume and if it fails the checksum, that's a strong indication that something is off. See if your filesystem is healthy and repair any issues if detected/needed. Also, check to see if your dr...

Re: project:17435 run:0 clone:1286 gen:36 failing on v7.4.4
It is strongly recommended to use version 7.6.21 since FahCore_22 has some new arguments that are not supported by the older clients. Thus, it would be nice to simply update the client. Since you have Ubuntu 16, I think it can handle Python 2 without issues so it would be easier to upgrade. BTW, you...

Re: GeForce RTX 3080 and 3090 support enabled !
Welcome to the F@H Forum PoyzionTV, Please note that folding proteins can be more intensive on the GPU than most benchmarks/games that you may use to test and stabilize your overclock. Reason is that games use the rendering aspect of the GPU while folding use the compute aspect of the GPU. Thus, if ...

Re: Missing credit server 129.32.209.201
Both those Servers belong to Temple University and they (multiple teams) are attempting to figure out what the root cause is and attempting to fix it. In most cases, you will eventually see a massive spike in points once the backlog has been cleared. However, the Science you do is being used so as l...

Re: OpenCL 1.2 finally in Mesa - please test
When it comes to GPU detection in Windows VS Linux, I have a vague recollection that Linux might be disabled by default since there's more work involved in it than Windows... this was the assumption many years ago so I am not sure if that's the reason why the default behavior between Windows and Lin...

...To remove the entry, you simply go to Configure and Expert, click on the gpu=false, remove it, hit Save and when it's done saving, reboot the PC.
