/etc/init.d/FAHClient stop does not work
Fresh install of Ubuntu 20.x running most current vs of F@H, sadly the newer versions of Ubuntu are not compatible with the GUI control for F@H so Im stuck working with CLI only. Not a major issue if it would behave and follow basic commands. Running htop to monitor my system # ps -e | grep FAH* 136...

Re: win10 F@HControl not showing on other users
Sorry, I was not clear in my original question. I am talking about local users on the same laptop, not domain users across a LAN.

Re: F@H Control not loading, howto see status via CLI
yes I did make the changes to the first line. That link is only partially correct, the actual line is #!/usr/bin/evn python so I tried /env python2 as well as /bin/python2 I am not at my house, I currently have another laptop and a workstation at home that are running the normal Fedora 31 without is...

Re: F@H Control not loading, howto see status via CLI
Thank you for the link, sadly I have already attempted that fix with no luck. Thus my request on how to get the information from just the command line. I am not stressing about not having access to FAHControl, but would love to be able to check the status on this older laptop.

F@H Control not loading, howto see status via CLI
For what ever reason on this older laptop I am unable to get FAHControl to start. It is roughly a 10yr laptop, so not really worth the fight to get a GUI interface. I am running Fedora 31 with the LXDE GUI. Is there a command to issue to get the status (% complete), WU#, team name, and user name? # ...

download page = blank
https://foldingathome.org/start-folding/ has nothing listed. When I follow the link for alternative downloads, it is also blank. I have tried with FireFox, Chrome, and Brave browsers. Neither FireFox, nor Brave have any extensions/add-ins installed. Is there a massive change happening soon to have t...

Re: /var/lib/fahclient 40+ Gb in size
With those 2 statements, is it also safe to delete the log file to clear up that 6.4G?

Re: Segmentaion fault (core dumped)
Found the answer. 1. This has nothing to do with my OS of choice contrary to posts above indicating. 2. This had nothing to do with drivers for the Vid card or MB 3. There is zero indication that this is the problem from any notes provided by the F@H team for install, troubleshooting, etc... Solutio...
