win10 F@HControl not showing on other users

kids new laptop installed F@H on win10, selected all users, but F@H is only found on the user account used to install?

How to fix?

FAH does not search for other local clients. You have to add them manually.

Start FAHControl. Select Configure and enter the requested information.

Your LAN probably uses DHCP so the IP address of the remote system(s) will likely change each time it reconnects, so I recommend you enter the hostname (after doing a ping <hostname> to confirm you can connect. The port number will always be 36330.

You'll probably need to adjust the settings in Remote Access tab of the remote client, too, enabling it to be managed by FAHControl on another machine. After making those adjustments, you'll need to restart that client.

The instructions above are for the builtin View/Control connecting one copy of FAHControl with multiple copies of FAHClient running on other computers connected by a network. If you don't need remote control, there's a 3rd party app which allows you to view the status of multiple remote clients. It also keeps a long-term history of you PPDs. It's called HFM and it is much easier to setup but it lacks the remote control capability.

Sorry, I was not clear in my original question. I am talking about local users on the same laptop, not domain users across a LAN.
