Project: 5780 (Run 13, Clone 788, Gen 10)

Post by selfwilly »

I'm posting this one only because, this is the first "exception thrown" I've ever had on this card(GTX275) and it's been running 24/7 for at least a few weeks. I've had no problems with the "57xxs" prior to this. Here is part of the log..Edit#2  I was not resent this WU either as seems typical with "unstable machine" or "Nans" errors. new one was sent and I've been on my merry way since.

Hi selfwilly (team 111065),
Your WU (P5780 R13 C788 G10) was added to the stats database on 2009-05-17 07:49:40 for 171.36 points of credit.

No one else returned result for it, so we'll have to check again later ...

Someone else completed that same WU successfully.

Errors like that are difficult to diagnose, but apparently it's not the WU itself. Most people start by removing the overclock and checking that there aren't any growing problems with heat or power supply limitations. If you haven't already done so, look at memtestg80, too.

Hi-thanks for the heads up! There is a slight overclock on one of the pair of gtx275s due to the fact that I've synced the Vanilla card to the factory "superclocked" card. However the error occurred on the "SC" card. Right now I'm just going to monitor the situation. I've had no incidents since and none before, so We'll see. I'll use the utility to check Vram when I take my PCs down for maintenance. Thanks for this excellent help forum though, I often lurk seeking tips and advice!
