Stopping at end of WU

Post by Tom_te_tom_te_tom »

I've got a 2 machines* running FAH I want to upgrade and was wondering how to set it so it stops after the uploading the results of the current WU?
* One W2K - going to Kubuntu so complete wipe..
One Suse10.3 which may survive a change to Kubuntu but may not...

You need to stop the Client and restart it with the -oneunit switch added.

This will indicate to the Client that you want it to finish the WU, you want it sent and you want no new job downloaded.
After this is done, the lient will exit/shutdown itself ... :)

How do I do this with the Mac System Preferences FAH control pane? If I click "Stop Folding@home" it stops immediately. I'm willing to let it finish the current WU, but then I want to stop due to Leopard no longer honoring -nice.

Can someone get John Hennessy to call Steve Jobs to put pressure on someone to put support for -nice back into 10.5.x?
