Old usernames

What happens to old usernames? do they stay on the server or do they get deleted if inactive for so long? Only reason i say is i tried to get my dad to do it, but wasn't bothered... after it started, so i put my username in instead.

Once a WU is uploaded, the stats associated with it are permanent. That means that there is no such thing as an "old" username as they all stay on the server forever.
