Linux Folding -sorry but a Noob Question...

Post by MDCRL »

Hello, all - sorry for the noob question - I know there's prob a place this has been asked and answered, but I haven't found it yet.....

I have recently been messing w/ diskless setups and have two cores running linux and seemingly doing well....

I have very limited linux knowledge and used this popular How to I'm sure you all recognize... to walk me by the hand into the open source world

Worked very well to set up both borgs through a main P-4 system w/ XP OS...

Question # 1
  • What do I use to monitor their progress ?

right now I have just a link to their respective tftpd32.303 backup files to see what each has been doing,
but it refreshes w/ each new WU and I don't know how much or when it finshed and such...
Question # 2
  • Is there a way to use one of those files w/ FahMon, or is there a better way to monitor them?
I want to add a few more to this circuit as it is great on saving HDD/os headaches and bosts CPU cycles for folding...

thanks.....

FahMon works with Linux installs.
