screen saver and old work units
I just downloaded FAH on a new computer. How do you activate the screen saver? ON my old computer I think it was listed in the screen saver box. Also, is there a way of retreiving work units already completed from the FAH that I used on my old computer? I'm using Windows XP.

There no screensaver version of v6 clients. Only Systray and Console are available.

You can pick any old screen saver now. Fah will still run in the background, using spare cpu cycles not used by other programs. As for your old WUs, nothing but a WU count was saved on your old computer by the fah client, so there is no need to retrieve anything. Stanford keeps track of your stats and total WUs or Points completed, from all of your clients.

or you can save some electricity (and some processor the folding can use) and just set the screen saver to none and have the monitor shuit off in the screen saver settings at whatever time you wanted the screen saver to come on.
