From your log :-
"Working with standard loops on this execution. - Previous termination of core was improper."
Seems like you need to reboot as there's no SSE use, unless there's some odd thing going on.

It is funny how the simple things are often overlooked. I have been working through some issues with two 4870s on this machine.

Spot on. A reboot got SSE back and unit times down to 45 minutes.

Hi, my name is Paula and I am responsible for project 2442.
Thank you for your post and your request of information regarding this project is absolutely fair.
Project 2442 is currently in beta-testing and worth 905 points.
Detailed information regarding this project was posted on the forum but only comes out in Psummary when the project is in advance methods or Folding@home.
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=6701

Unfortunately it seems that during Halloween night (I am not kidding) about 100 of these Work Units "scaped" from the beta-testing realm into advanced or folding@home methods. I very much apologize for this inconvenience. I hope people that got these Work Units would be willing to finish them all the way through, since the information that they will provide is very valuable to the project. However, I understand that they might not be willing to. The worse scenario is that the WU will EUE (finish abruptly) but seems unlikely. Please feel free to cancel the WU if you decide you prefer to go for a WU that has already been tested.
Please, post here if you have any questions and thanks again,
Paula

Hi Paula, I have been folding one of the "scaped" WU's since Oct 31. I do intend to let it finish (FahMon says it will finish Nov 20) (Yes, Extra SSE boost is OK). Are there any deadlines for these WU's?
Thanks.

Hi Celt, Thank you for your help. I tested them internally and they take less time. Please could you let me know how it goes? The deadlines are pretty long (30 days) and you are fine. The info you give me is very valuable.
Thanks and happy weekend!

Of course, points are points. And the science that comes out of you is definitely exciting. What I am trying to find out with your project is how proteins are translated inside the ribosome exit tunnel. The ribosome is a tiny factory inside the cell in charge of manufacturing proteins. These proteins come out through a long assembly line, the tunnel. Some proteins, though, get stuck inside the tunnel, because the have a certain "stalling" sequence. In your project 2442 and the whole 2440s series we are simulating such a mechanism, and trying to find out why/how stalling happens. Cheers and keep me posted about completion of 2442. Thank you once again with your contribution.
