any ideas?? I can ping the box but not transmit data to it?

I restarted the 504 client, no help. I see three different errors here:

1. Couldn't send HTTP request to server

2. Could not connect to Work Server

3. Could not transmit unit 07......

tried another restart while running a continuous ping against the work server, couldn't connect and upload, but continuous ping had no errors or timeouts.

how do I fix this?

well criminy, no sooner did I post this than it uploaded results successfully.

Why does it say: Working on Unit 08 [January 7 01:05:42]

but also : [01:10:01] + Number of Units Completed: 5

Did I lose some? last week there were days when I thought it started another WU, but no results were posted?

I'm pretty sure 'working on unit 8' just means that it's using the 8th position in the queue to store your interim results.

I'm not sure what determines the log report of how many units you've completed. I just rely on the statistics to say how many units I've completed, which is 465 over 5 clients. When I look at any of my logs after it uploads a unit, it never shows a 'high' number as units completed - I think the most I've seen is 49. Maybe it's the number of units completed since the last time I shut down the client?

It shows how many you completed with that client on that machine with that machine ID. Reinstalling a client will reset the count.
