I received a work unit from 171.67.108.24, but it's not in server status and no log exists.

It's probably nothing, but this is the first time I've received a work unit from an unlisted ip address.

Re: WU ip address not listed in server status
That server is listed in psummary.html just fine, maybe you where quick to pick it up though. Afaik the psummary file is auto updated but it might take a short while for it to process things so it may not always be current but running abit behind. Normally not a problem btw since it's not really a necesity to have it updated in real timepluto7777 wrote:I received a work unit from 171.67.108.24, but it's not in server status and no log exists.

Re: WU ip address not listed in server status
I don't see that server on the serverstat page. My guess is that it's a replacement for one of the servers on the bad network (.122.) and they're still working on getting it on-line. In my experience, they often prepare new servers on Saturday or Sunday and then try to put it into full production on Monday, though that's not a firm pattern.
...or maybe it's an alternate port for a dual-homed server.
If you got an assignment from it, you can expect to be able to return that work either to a fully operational server soon or to the assigned collection server. I doubt there is anything to worry about.

Re: WU ip address not listed in server status
This has to do with the net switch over. The new servers should be added in time, but thanks for the heads up on this one.
