I am running an AMD 6400+ (OC), Sapphire 2900 XT, and 2gb of RAM, which version of the software should I be running?

Assuming the full description of the processor is AMD64 X2 6400+, run the SMP client. My slightly OC'd 6000+ does 1322 PPD.

You would help the science more and make more points by running the SMP Client , if you run it 24/7 or at least 13 hours a day.

I started running it, but it keeps messing up, Connecting to 0.0.0.0 (invalid address). So at the moment I am not helping at all, but hopefully they will get it fixed soon.

There are a number of reasons why you might be assigned to 0.0.0.0 but you asked that question in another thread so we won't duplicate the discussion here. (That's why we prohibit double posting.)
