time/frame

Post by hardhead »

This may be a stupid question, but I barely know a computer from a washing machine. My time/frame varies from about 13min/frame to more than 42 min/frame, often when the computer isn't being used for anything else. The first 2 WU each took about 4 days, and the current one looks like about the same. Is this variation normal, or does it indicate the computer might be about to have problems?

Thank you,
Hardhead

It is normal with different times to complete workunits. There is sometimes a large variation between different projects too.

This is normal : FAH releases your CPU power to allow your other application to run as fast as usual ;)

So you can still use your computer without noticing that FAH is running :)
