Could not connect to Work Server

I haven't been able to connect to server for the last couple of weeks at least. I am not very tech savy but below is a copy of my latest log. I have a AMD X2 4400+ processor, 1 GB Ram and run XP Pro SP2.

Open your client configuration and unselect "deadlineless WU" (select "normal" or "no preference").

Went into "Configure..." from task bar and changed "Deadlines" in Advanced tab to No Preference but "Ignore Deadlines locally "was already unchecked.
I have also added port 8080 to exceptions in the XP firewall but the icon in the task bar still reports "Attempting to get work packet" . Seems to be stuck at this point.

Try to select Normal instead of No Prefs ... and uncheck the Ignore deadlines box.

Edit : are you still assigned to the same server

Please stop and restart the client after making changes, as that may help.
