I have two laptops running F@H 8.4.9 and have logged into both. The problem is BOTH laptops are only showing the progress of the first one I logged into. This wasn't the case until a couple of days ago, but now even the machine name on both Folding @ Home clients is the same.
My question is:
What do I configure to get both laptops working WUs, but each laptop is working different WUs from each other?
How to get two laptops to work different WUs?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. It sounds like a UI issue if it's displaying the progress of only the first one. Does this happen with an FAH account, or does it also happen when viewing the web interface locally on both machines?
But both laptops will be working on different WUs. They might be WUs from the same project, but they will be different WUs.

Each laptop, and each device will rarely work on the same project, and will never work on the same WU.

What I mean is, Laptop A has the F@H client up and running on my web browser. It has the correct machine name, the correct configuration that I set (using the GPU Chip and 15 of the 16 available CPU cores), and has two WUs being worked on: one on the GPU and one on the 15 CPU cores. For the purposes of this example we'll say the GPU WU is 23.6% complete and the CPU WU is 14.1% complete.
Laptop B has the F@H Client running on it's Browser, but despite the system tray icon saying F@H is running, the client is only reporting the information from Laptop A.
I'm currently completely re-installing F@H on laptop B to see if that helps.
UPDATE: Reinstalling F@H on laptop B seems to have solved the problem. I'm now seeing both laptops on the web client and while the GPUs are working on WUs from the same Project #, the completion percentages are different indicating that they are working on different runs.

Have you actually tried folding on Laptop B? You need to start folding on it manually. You also need to check laptop B if hardware in it is actually supported
System info section within Web UI will tell you if there is anything not supported. Also clicking on the Account Settings icon top right corner on laptop B will show you a small chain, which can link laptop b client to your account

Yes I have been folding on B. What was weird was up until a few days ago things were fine with the Wus on each respective web client being different. (I didn't have it configured to report remote clients.) I just reinstalled F@H on laptop B and it immediately connected to my account without configuring on my end. The main change - and it's an improvement - is I'm now seeing data for both laptops on the web client. Reinstalling must have cleared up whatever problem I had with the remote clients display.
