I installed on openSUSE Tumbleweed the 8.4.9 with a rpm I built using https://github.com/FoldingAtHome/fah-cl ... ING-RPM.md
fah says :
11:08:10:I3:gpus = {
11:08:10:I3: "gpu:01:00:00": {"vendor": 4318, "device": 7425, "type": "nvidia", "supported": false, "description": "GP108 [GeForce GT 1030]"}
Previously, I installed the current beta 8.4.10 with a rpm I built. This version supported this GPU.

Re: unsupported GPU
Why not go back to the beta?
Because of the weird decisions dev makes in regards to beta builds, I cannot tell you what changed with latest beta, since it is not available from beta page yet.
8.4.9 however might not support your GPU because of the drivers, or nvidia icd loader

Re: unsupported GPU
I went back to beta 8.4.10.
Then I replaced the file fah-client 8.4.10 with the file fah-client 8.4.9 from fah-client_8.4.9-64bit-release.tar.bz2.
Then there is no problem to support the nvidia geforce gt 1030 !
I wonder if the file gpu.json is different for 8.4.9 and does not contain my nvidia adapter.

Why do you insist to keep anything from 8.4.9?promeneur wrote: ↑Sat Mar 01, 2025 3:48 pm I went back to beta 8.4.10.

And no, gpus.json is universal regardless of the fahclient version
