Total work not showing up

Post by Richard Mitnick »

Folding is actively at work but my work totals are not showing up. This is the first time I have noticed this.

Thanks.

If you need help, please ask a more specific and more detailed question. Mind reading is hard these days. :)
How long have you been folding, what is not showing up and where, what are you folding with, what is the username you are folding under, are you sure you are completing your work units successfully, where are you looking for that info?

Thanks for your help.

I have been folding for about 1 year (I could not find the date I started).
I found my total work by clicking on the Statistics tab.
On the main FAH page, near the top right, my total points should be showing up; but they are not. It simply says "Loading".
I am folding on a Win 11 Lenovo desktop computer.
My user name is "Richard_Mitnick".
I show in Statistics 117,905,608 points by contributing 1,431 work units, so I am sure I am completing my work units successfully.
The totals should be showing up on the main FAH page near the top right, but they are not. Instead it says "Loading".
I hope I have answered your questions.

Which client are you running? Version 7 or Version 8?

That is a known issue with stats and v7. Database is now tweaked for v8, and anything that breaks on v7 is left, since v7 is no longer supported.

So, O.K., how do I move to Version 8? And how do I do it without losing my current credit?

Thanks.

Make sure to read the guide and do not mix passkey with passphrase ;)

Note that v8 will not pick up unfinished work from v7.
You should finish and pause before the upgrade.
