Why is my OS listed as Win32?
Seriously, I installed the AMD64 software version, that's 64-bits, I presume, as it installed in Program Files, not Program Files (x86), running on a 64-bit operating system, so why is the OS listed as Win32?

Because it’s what some server software expects. Ignore it.

But this is in the v8 web interface.
Couldn't it list Win64 in the Work Units OS options and everything else, while actually sending Win32 to the servers. I know that's a bit complicated to setup, but it's possible isn't it, even if it's not that important?
Curiously, the Recent CPUs list has it's OS type as Win64.

Web Control mostly shows unaltered data sent by clients.
v7 is 32-bit on Windows and is still supported
v8 is 64-bit but actually uses the Win32 API
I don’t know what is reporting win64 to the stats system.
Joseph doesn’t want to risk breaking anything at this time by switching to win64 for Windows.
