Folding@Home on chromebooks?
Does the folding@Home client work on chromebooks, both x86 and ARM based ones, and is there an easy way to install it without using linux or the terminal?

Re: Folding@Home on chromebooks?
The client should work on a Chromebook running Linux, either Intel or ARM based. There is no client or folding core support for ChromeOS. Depending on processor they may be able to complete WUs within deadlines if they have sufficient cooling to keep the processor from being thermally throttled.
As long as you have some desktop and browser support with the Linux version used you can install without using the terminal commands. The current release v8.3.18 uses a browser for setup and control of the client once it is installed. The browser can be run on a separate system using a login to the F@h API server.
