We've making some changes to the assignment server code regarding how it handles SMP assigns. The changes are designed to let us handle all the different multi-core combinations (3,6,8,24,etc.) more flexibly. We've been testing the changes on the secondary assignment server for the past few days and everything looks good, so we're phasing them in on the main server this morning.
Please let us know if you get errors of the following type:
SMP clients assigned to non-SMP servers
non-SMP clients assigned to SMP servers
We've been testing for these errors and haven't found any, but the above problems would indicate an issue with the new code.
