Unable to get any work units on 2 machines

Hello all.

I have been folding for about a year but the last week has caused me huge problems. I run two PC's usually with no issues.

About 7 days ago my main PC was no longer able to download a work unit and still was unable to after 248 attempts and 5 days later i decided to turn it off. Then 2 days ago my second PC was unable to download work units but succeeded in uploading the last completed unit. I have tried everything I can think of with reinstalling apps, checking the ports werent being blocked by the router, replaced wireless adapter. Still nothing.

If I open my web browser and try to connect to assign1.foldingathome.org it fails 100% of the time. Then assign2.foldingathome.org is very intermittent, sometimes it loads the webpage correctly but its usually erroring out with "The site cannot be reached - ERR_CONNECTION_RESET" 8/10 times.

My log is pretty much the same on both PC's but here it is. If anyone could help Id really apprechiate it because I dont want to give up on F@H

Messages that you failed to get an assignment with the "Received short response" error message indicates something is blocking network packets from getting back to your PCs. This can be local on the PC from the action of anti-malware or firewalls active on them, or from settings on your router. Between your network and the servers this can also be done by ISP routers or institutional firewalls. One of the more common blockings is HTTP packets for apps not on a recognized list of browsers such as Edge, Firefox, Chrome or Safari. Exceptions can be added to firewall and other settings to allow HTTP packets to go to the FAHClient process.

Strangely after i posted this it started working. I decided to install it on my windows tablet just to see if there was something affecting it. I reset my router and powerline adapters then opened F@H on my tablet (PC 3) .. this immediately downloaded a work unit. Came back to check PC 1 and PC2 a few hours later.. Both PC1 and PC2 are suddernly 50% + through a block. I guess the error was fixed by resetting my network fully by resetting the router and all my powerline adapters. Thank you for the response Joe!

So strange to start working perfectly again once assign1.foldingathome.org came back online but either way I'm happy I can F@H again

This was the end result in my log.. it defo seems like it was my router as it went from no response, to unable to find IP address during the reset. Then downloaded immediately upon router fully rebooting, I only tried this since I noticed random 'access denied' logs in my router's system log. After i checked the IP address i realised the router was rejecting one of my powerline adapters data requests (which ofcourse turned out being the powerline adapter both PC's were connected to),
