Status 'FAILED' for GPU Slot gtx 1070 on win 10

[foldingTon]

I have this issue for some time now that my GPU tries to work on new units, spits out an error (Win32: 0xc0000005: Exception access violation) and sends some results with a faulty flag, if I interpreted the log exactly. After multpile attempts, the slot enters the 'FAILED' state.
This happened for some month now, I paused it for some time and the problem occures every time I try it again.

System:
CPU Intel Core i7-8700 (non k)
GPU Gainward GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5
MB AsRock z370 Extreme4
32GB DDR4 Memory
I have installed a 10GBit NIC in a 2nd PCIe Slot so the GPU is down to 8 lanes but it work in the beginning.

What is wrong with my system and what information do you need to track it down?

0xc0000005 is a Windows memory exception. Unfortunately that's a very general statement and it doesn't give any real information of where to start.

It most likely is a hardware issue such as bad RAM or almost any other reason your system could be accessing memory that doesn't belong to the application that's trying to access it. Unfortunately there are a lot of reasons that this type of corruption can occur, including corrupt software. I'd start by reinstalling software and running serious diagnostics.

Before you do that, be sure to have a look around. Are all the fan turning and heat-sinks dust free. It can also be caused by overclocking or overheating.

When Windows detects a 0xc0000005 it stops the application from continuing and attempts to kill the offending application from corrupting other things. All FAH really knows is something bad happened. It responds by trying to restart 5 times and if it doesn't progress, it aborts, just like you're reporting. FAH doesn't want anybody's hardware from submitting incorrect results and after dumping several corrupted WUs, it doesn't want you to keep downloading and discarding what are probably perfectly good WUs and lets other people work on them who can successfully complete them.

I'm using Studio Drivers, there it's the newest, but maybe I'll check with the game ready driver.

I am undervolting my CPU, tomorrow I start there and take 'a look around' in my system, thanks for your suggestions.
