Am I Missing points? or missing something else entirely?

So im watching my GPU fold complete and i notice it says ive got a Final credit estimate, 82683.00 points but when a fold is completed i only got about 20,000 points instead. Am i missing something or have something running wrong? I'm new and pretty confused on this aspect.

Do you have a passkey? If not, get one and enter it in FAHControl + Configure + Identity

After you get a passkey, your next 10 WUs will NOT receive a Quick Return Bonus, but then you will start earning QRB points.

The "Final credit estimate" that is displayed in the log assumes that those steps have been completed. Those first 10 qualifying WUs receive only "baseline points" which is significantly less that when the bonus is added.

Yeah i have a passkey its already entered and has been entered. I'm only getting points from mainly cpu and then payouts of BAN in cpu but not GPU. Are you saying that after 10 GPU Wus it will start paying out points and BAN then?

You should be getting some points for each GPU wu completed but think the ones you are getting may be ones on a server that currently isn't reporting stats and hence why you are not seeing points for them ... you wu count in stats compared to you wus count by looking at your logs will confirm this ... you can also use the wu status app to confirm if the gpu wus have reached the stats system yet.

As to ban (which i normally wouldn't try to answer cause outside support forum remit) if you are getting for the cpu wus then i would expect you to get them for the gpu wus when they get ingested into the stats - but I am in no way a ban subscriber let alone and expert - the ban forums will help you with those.

The 10 wu qrb qualification is for any wus (cpu or gpu) for the username/passkey pairing iirc.

If your team shows up on the 3rd party ExtremeOverclocking site, you can show your team box in your signature, and if your team is high enough in the statistics you can also show individual stats. Instructions here: https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/?nav=IMAGES

The site is not run by FoldingAtHome, so it's not official, but it gives some nice progression reports for people who like to collect points and do running commentary. The team catch-up page is also fun to look at sometime. Got to beat SOTA. PS: Recruiting for teams is not allowed on these forums, so we can't tell you which team to pick.

The eoc stats are limited to the top 12000 teams and on individuals in the top 800 teams but with some others see the eoc faqs on their web pages
