not receiving any points
Yesterday, I re-activated FH on my 4 computers after about 1 year. All went well, after core-updating the calculations started right away, and some 30-40 tasks were done meanwhile. However, when I open the web control pages on 4 computers, they show the same number of points which were shown yesterday when I got started (i.e. the points which I had earned last year). None of my finished tasks add any points

Re: not receiving any points
Welcome back to the fold
You couldn't have picked a "better" time ... There are server side stats issues all over other topic threads ... But as long as your logs are showing work ack and estimate points messages then the wus are successfully uploading and science continues ... Stats issues will be sorted in due course but be patient as these can take weeks or even months - but in my experience stats always get sorted eventually ... This one is tbh a bit of a mess that is causing quite a lot of "lost wu" type messages - they aren't lost just the stats systems is feeling very poorly

Re: not receiving any points
Yes, the stats subsystem is in serious disrepair. I do know the Development team is working on the problem(s) but I have no prediction when a repaired system will resume operation. There may be periodic updates from time to time and I don't know how to tell if they've been manually nursed through the old system or are indicative of progress on a replacement system.

Hi guys, many thanks for your quick reply.
Okay, so at least I know that it isn't me who is doing anything wrong (wrong settings, or whatever).
So let's then keep our fingers crossed that the stats subsystem will be back to operation one day

Re: not receiving any points
shortly after the messages above, the credit system seemed to have come back on track. I now receive credits for all tasks that are uploaded from my 4 PCs.
There is one interesting observation though:
With some tasks, the "estimated credit" shown in the FAH control window during crunching is considerably higher than the "base credit" - and exactly this estimated credit is then given.
With some other tasks though, the estimated credit is the same as the base credit. For example, I am crunching right now tasks for project 17800 on two machines, and the credit shown is 12940, both base and estimated, on both machines.
Can anyone explain me this discrepancy?

Re: not receiving any points
Do you have two pcs that don't complete wus within the timeout if so then the will only get base credits and the estimated credit will therefore be the same .. this is project dependant as they can gave different timeout considerations .. another possibility may be that two of the machines have no passkey but if these machines do get high estimates and receive the high points this won't be the case .. if you post some prcg for completed wus of the different machines and point levels we can use wu status app to try and figure out what is happening

Re: not receiving any points
I am sure that all 4 PCs complete wus in time. They crunch with GPUs, the tasks take just a few hours, the PCs are running 24/7.
Where can I see the timeout time for each task, anyway? Also, where can I check whether a given machine has a passkey?
I will, of course, provide some prcg for completet wus and point levels - where can I find this information for completed wus?

Re: not receiving any points
Looking at WU returns from the Recent CPUs app - https://apps.foldingathome.org/cpu, it appears two of your systems do not have your passkey entered. Without a passkey only base points will be credited.
If your passkey was entered at the time the WUs were downloaded and uploaded, then there may be a configuration problem for those two projects. It has occasionally happened that either the setting for giving the QRB was not made, or it was deleted by mistake on the server.
Timeout and Expiration values are displayed in the Advanced Control (FAHControl) window when there is a WU being processed. Bonus points (QRB) are given when WUs are returned before the Timeout, base points after that but before the Expiration time. The username and passkey combination has to have returned 10 WUs and maintain an 80% return rate.

Re: not receiving any points
Timeouts for each project can be checked on project summary linked at top of forums .. you can see wus completed by checking you logs - for each one completed there will be an estimated points statement which will help you pick samples of each type .. are you using same username and passkey for all the pcs .. if not and each is a different user then you could use the bonus status web app which iirc will show if passkey is installed ... if not then configuration settings in advanced control may help

Re: not receiving any points
I have checked now: the 2 machines where I do not get the extra points do NOT have passkeys (I did not know before that I need a passkey to get the extra credit).
I have now requested, received and entered a passkey for one PC. When I requested a passkey for the other machine, I get the message that I have requested a passkey within the last 4 hours, and hence I have to wait now. So it seems that one cannot request more than 1 passkey within 4 hours

Re: not receiving any points
You already have a passkey on the other machines, you can use it on as many different machines as you have. Just copy it from the email. It is better to use the same passkey, using a new one will require 10 WUs before you start earning the QRB for returns on those machines.

Re: not receiving any points
Are you using the same username for each machine ... if so then the passkey is generated from the username and email address combination ... so the passkey is same for both (possibly all) your machines

hi folks, for several days, no total credit is shown when opening the Web Control Page. On the upper right hand side, it just says "loading" all the time ...
