Basically the subject. I started on my laptop, doing a little project (713 points), now I did one on my PC and they wrote smth like 100.000 points. I finished it but the points remain at 713... So how long does it take to update?
(sorry for bad grammar, english is just my 4th language and I am learning it for half a year)

Re: How long does it take for the points earned to update?
Welcome to Folding@Home!
I am a user just like you but I have been folding for 12 years.
The official Stats should Ideally update every hour.
If you use third part stats, they seem to update every 3 hours
Sadly,
Your Work Server may not immediately report your stats to the official stats server. (I think there are/were issues with the work servers at Temple University lately)
The official stats server may malfunction, and one way to fail is that it may not provide flat files for third party server.s
The third party servers are just a hobby, and may be down as well.
I have hope you will eventually get credit!

Re: How long does it take for the points earned to update?
Welcome to the forums
In normal/good cases within half an hour or so (when looking at the WU stats app) an the stats pages a bit longer depending on the generation schedule ... but it can take longer - much longer (days, weeks, even months) if there is a hold up or blockage in the stats system.
If you can look in your logs (instructions for how to do this can be found https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=26036) and find the upload successfully messages for each wu you will be able to check they uploaded successfully.
You can also check the WU Status app https://apps.foldingathome.org/ and by entering the PRCG (project, run, clone, generation) that you will see in the log which uniquely identifies the wu into this you will be able to see if it has got into the stats system yet.
I am not sure if you will have set up a passkey - if not you will want to do so soon as it helps with points by enabling the qrb once you have uploaded enough wus and also checking your stats as usernames are not unique but a passkey is ... information about the points system, qrb and the passkey can be found https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/points/ ... Note that the viewers (web and advanced) will assume you have a passkey and that qrb is active when displaying estimated points - until your qrb is active you will most likely receive less (much less if you have a fast machine).
Any other issues don't hesitate to ask

Thank you both! After 6 1/2 hours I now got awarded somewhat arround 30.000 points but that's what you probably meant by
I'll ask if I have anymore questions but for now I will just let it fold over night when I am neiter working nor playing! See you maybe somewhen (idk any greetingformulas for forums, that's my second forum post ever)Neil-B wrote: (much less if you have a fast machine).
