I've been successfully folding 24/7 since 31.03.20, but yesterday the client suddenly crashed and then went into a loop, every its attempt to restart was immediately followed by the same crash. I could not continue folding and had to stop the client. The log says the following:

My computer is
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard, Intel Core i5-4460 3.2 GHz, RAM 16 GB,
system disk -- SanDisk Ultra II 240GB SSD.

No configuration changes were made recently, no new software installed.
disk utilities report that disks are OK.

What may be the reason of such a behavior and how can I recover and continue folding?

You could try with the latest client version, it seems to be old.

To manually dump the problematic WU, go to C:\Users\misa\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient\work and delete folder 00. (In log WU00). Then restart folding.

Deleting the folder 00 has helped.
Regarding the latest version, I just don't know how to update it without completely removing and reinstalling the client.

I think in Windows its enough to just download new installer and let it do it's job. https://foldingathome.org/start-folding/ Just stop it first.

Please someone correct if I'm wrong.

Anyway it is not a giant job to remove old installation and reinstall. Then check of configuration in both cases is needed. Maybe thats the most recommendable method.
