Hi everyone,
I'm new here, and I already now that there is right now some troubles with the GPU work force.
But I'm wondering if my own GPU problem is related to that or not.
In FAH I try to setup my GPU as a slot (it's an nVidia 1070 TI by the way), I set it up to -1 as recommanded, but when I save to close the window, the GPU slots desapears.
It's no longer here, and it keeps doing it everytime I try to put it back.
Do you have any idea what's going on ?
Thanks !
Best regards
Nicolas

Hi Nicolas and welcome to the forum.
Is this Windows, OS X, or Linux? Do you have the latest AMD drivers installed?

Re: GPU not recognized as a slot
Please note that if you're using the latest client 7.6.9, there's a manual workaround to add your GPU assuming that you have the Nvidia drivers installed (not the ones from the Windows Updates but the ones from the Nvidia site https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us#)
Manually download the GPUs.txt file from here: https://apps.foldingathome.org/GPUs.txt (right-click save as GPUs.txt)
Exit the client
Copy the GPUs.txt file from the Downloads folder to %AppData%\FAHClient
Reboot your system
Start up the client and ensure that you can see your GPU in the log file
Add a GPU slot from FAHControl -> Configure -> Slots tab -> Add -> GPU -> OK -> Save
If you need additional help, you can post the log file and the guidance, if required, can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=26036
