Continuous "Connecting"...
Hello,
I started on FaH's second machine and has been hanging on "Connecting" status since installation. The first machine connected properly without any delay. Both machines connected to one local network. Is this the occupation of the FaH server ...?
Process Explorer shows no load on Client FaH or FaH Control. The resource monitor does not record any FaH traffic. And some time has passed since installation and firing the instance ...
On the first machine on which the FaH installation was carried out the same day, it downloads, processes and sends back the WU without any problem.
Is this the occupation of the FaH server ...?

Re: Continuous "Connecting"...
By "Connecting" do you mean the client looking for an assignment of a WU? Or do you mean Web Control or FAHControl are continuously tryin to connect to show what the client is doing which is a different problem.
If this machine does not eventually download work, post the first 200 or so lines of your log file and we can take a look to see if there are ant problems with the configuration.

Re: Continuous "Connecting"...
What CPU and GPU do you have? I know one of my PCs has been connecting for a while, but it was ARM so it didn't work.

By "Connecting" I understand the situation as in this screenshot https://imgur.com/a/1oSUBaS.
I cannot access the log because FaHControl is not logging in.

Only the i3 M350 CPU counts on this machine.MobileGamesMotion wrote:What CPU and GPU do you have? I know one of my PCs has been connecting for a while, but it was ARM so it didn't work.

Re: Continuous "Connecting"...
Does the account you are running the client from have R/W access to CWD: D:\FAHClient\Data? That is not the default location so you may have some fixing up to do for the install this way to work. Without write access to this location the client can not write necessary files there and complete the installation enough for it to go active and be connected to.
There have been a number of posts and topics about this, look for ones about client being installed under wrong user and similar.

Re: Continuous "Connecting"...
Yes, this is not the default location for the Fah installation, but it did have full rights. I also installed FaH in the default location and the situation was similar. Before each subsequent installation, I thoroughly cleaned the remnants of the previous one in the system and in the registry. I have no idea what the reason is, and it annoys me terribly.Joe_H wrote:Does the account you are running the client from have R/W access to CWD: D:\FAHClient\Data? I will try to take it as soon as I find more free time than I currently have. There have been a number of posts and topics about this, look for ones about client being installed under wrong user and similar.
