Hi Guys,

I have a RTX 2080 in my computer and would to like to help this month.
The current problem is that the software doesn't run properly.

Here the log:

These messages indicate that your client is contacting the Folding@Home servers, but is not being assigned any work units.

This is due to the increased server load and work unit shortage. It is being worked on. Nothing in your log indicates a problem with your client. Just leave your client running and it will eventually receive a work unit.

Click on the pause tab wait 2-3 seconds then unpause (fold), it resets the server auto request timer to less than 90 seconds or so. I've noticed if you don't do that at least every so often then that timer can go on for over an hour before it requests for a new WU download.
I'm a proper noob at this by the way, so feel free to kick my ass if necessary anyone.

I already tried to hit the pause button. I already try to reinstall the program...
The software seems not to be very stable.

When I need to run my computer for one hour, to help another hour, then it isn't a good solution.

I see a potential problem here, actually.

Your CPU slot is set to 7 threads. Not all projects support odd numbers of threads. Some do, but with the current work unit shortage, we want to maximize your chances.

Set your threads to an even number. Subtract one thread for each GPU, but round down to the nearest even number after that.

Edit: Actually, I'm not sure the problem is odd numbers, it's "large prime" numbers and multiples of such numbers, with large being 7 or more. This has been talked about on the forum before, but unfortunately it's not prominently mentioned in the program help or support documentation. It'd be nice if the team could make an official statement that explains the thread number issue in exhaustive detail.
