Hello, I have a few questions

Post by Sandtiger »

Hi, I am a new user of Folding@Home and I have been contributing to the PC Games Hardware team and I have a couple of questions regarding the team and my points total.

1. My points total has not moved in a couple of days which is mystifying especially since I have just completed a GPU task that should have been worth over 57,000 points but my total is still at 77,000 like it was earlier. Do the totals get refreshed at some point?

2. Does anyone know if the PC Games Hardware team has their own signature like I have seen some teams do? It would be nice to be able to put that in my signature if that's available.

Thank you and best wishes to all!

1. Points system, like other parts of F@H, is struggling to keep up. It is being worked on. Points are almost certainly safe and will be credited eventually.
Please be patient, for obvious reasons stats are a lower priority than getting the science done.

There's been a very rapid increase in the number of new Folding@home users. It's caused a lot of load on the stats system and consumed most of the workunits in the queue. The research teams are currently setting up new servers and getting more projects into the queue to keep up with demand. The points should still be rewarded and you should see that once the stats server catches up again.

Is this the team?

I do not read German, but I would expect any signature to be there.
