CPU not working

Post by user1453 »

Hi All

I've just setup folding at home.

I'm having an issue where I appear to not be pulling work units for the CPU.

My PC did crash a few times before I backed off the overclock by 100MHz.

It completed 1 work cycle correctly and I have been assigned points for it by no more CPU work units have started, is there something I need to do?

What does the log (in Advanced Control) say? it is probably just a temporary inability of the servers to supply a work unit, which will sort itself out in time. Please be patient as the team are trying to increase the work available for the sudden massive increase in donors.

There has been a massive number of new users and the servers are dealing with very high load due to the high demand for workunits. A number of us are not getting workunits because the queue has been emptied by the growing userbase. The research teams are currently scrambling to get more workunits online and get high-capacity servers set up. I'd recommend keeping the software running and you should be able to pick up workunits relatively soon once there's more available.
