Hello, I'm completely new to the F@H program, I understand theres currently no WU available for my GPU (1660Ti), so my question may be simple
How do I join a team, is there a benefit to the cause to join a team?
TIA

Re: Teams?
Yes and no.
How to join a team? Identify the team you want to join, find out what team number they use and add it into your client in the team field in user settings.
Is their a benefit to the cause? No. But sometimes yes in different ways. Some teams will donate old equipment to folders to increase stats and throughput. But mostly its like a suppport forum and friends group for new folders. Alternatively you can setup your own team, if thats what you want. This is useful if you want to fly solo and have a few folding rigs, or maybe you are starting a team for a community you run, such as a gaming community or similar.

Re: Teams?
This site has s list of the most popular sites, but it is not a complete list. Look for something you are interested in and see if they have a team or maybe a forum you are a member of, or perhaps whoever told you about folding is on a team or could suggest a team

Re: Teams?
If hardware is your thing, look at the big sites like Toms and EOC, they have teams. Run a Mac, there are several mac teams, just google for them, gaming teams exist if thats your bag. Normally looking at forums ina reas you are interested will find you a folding team.
Or if not, start your own. Go here: https://apps.foldingathome.org/team and be the first to create Covid Crusaders or something else.
