Not able to connect

Hi

I just downloaded Folding@home and I am not able to get it working. It launches, but it will not connect to the server. It says failure to connect and cant get assignment ID.

specs: i7-8700k, RTX 2070, 32gb RAM,

OK, I am guessing your firewall is blocking your access to F@H servers.
You can check by turning off the Windows firewall for 10 minutes.
If that works, then you need to allow F@H client to access port 80 or 8080.

Once you've established that it's a firewall issue, you'll should configure a firewall exception that gives FAHClient the same internet permissions that are automatically configured for your browser.
