Username issue scoreboard

So I have joined a team and started folding awhile ago and had to stop due to power bill and my asian dad ( I live in Australia and power is exactly not cheap here.). So I reinstalled it with the same passkey that I had awhile ago and changed the name I had. When I did a work unit on under the new name it just showed up on the team scoreboard with the new name not changing the original name that I had on there to my new name. I am using the same system that I folded with. Sorry if this post may be a duplicate from others who have posted under the same issue I'm new here and lazy.

Number 65 is my old name and 99 is my new number.

Welcome to the folding support forum.

Once submitted and recorded in the stats database, points awarded stay credited to the same name and team. All points done using a different name set in the client will be show up separately. PG does not merge names used for folding.

If youwant to see a total points for WU's submitted by you, the official stats can be searched using just your passkey. That will show a total for all that used the same passkey in the client.

You probably remember that when you first got your passkey, you had to complete 10 WUs before the passkey was qualified and the bonuses cicked in. You may have also discovered that you have to re-qualify the passkey every time you change your name. Searching is as Joe_H said, but the first 10 WUs after a change of either the passkey or the name suspends the bonus temporarily.
