Hello
I'm really new at Folding@home.
It works very well, but where can I see that the FAH client software uses my CPU and my GPU as well?
I've a quite new Radeon X390 and want to know if its performance is beeing used...?
Great project!
Kind regards,
Roman

Hello RK.aus.S,
Welcome to the forum. You should see a FAH client on your task bar. It could be in your hidden task bar icons. If you open that, you should be able to see what projects you are working on.

Hi Ricky
Thank you - I know that already.
My question was: does the FAH client use my CPU and simultanieously my GPU together to get the most out of my PC?

Yes they can both work at the same time but not on the same piece of work ... they will each have their own work unit to work on.
You can use Advanced Control aka FAHControl to monitor their activity.
For further help please supply the System and Config info as shown in the log: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=26036

Re: Where can I see that CPU and GPU is working?
Download a program called Process Explorer. It's now a Microsoft product. But with that program you can see the CPU usage of any program. And if you enable the GPU column, you should be able to see the GPU usage of any program. But sometimes that doesn't work for me, as it seems to only work for processes actually using the GPU for graphics and not for calculations. So to see my GPU usage I also use MSI Afterburner. It's a nice GPU overclocking software, but could just be used to see your GPU usage and GPU fan RPMs. Or you could use a program called GPU-Z to check out your GPU stats.RK.aus.S wrote:Hello
