GTX 780 Ti Getting 28000ppd?
Hi, I am new to the Forum and have just installed a GTX780 Ti card but the estimated ppd seems very low at 28360. Any ideas why this could be happening? As I said, I am new to this so not sure what I am doing.

Yes. You need to get a passkey (if you don't already have one) and then complete at least 10 bonus eligible WUs before you'll start earning bonuses.
If you changed either your passkey or your account name, you will need to re-qualify your passkey.

Welcome to the folding@home forum MattEngr.
Since you mentioned estimated PPD there are at least a couple of other possibilities one of which could be you've checked too early ... when processing a project for the first time you need to wait a few percentage points for the calculation to be valid. Another possibility is that you've received a core 15 project which does not earn the Quick Return Bonus and thus produces less PPD. Although you do need a passkey as mentioned by bruce to earn the bonus I'm not sure the lack of one affects the Estimated PPD that FAHControl displays.

Estimated PPD does work correctly for non-QRB WUs such as Core_15

Guys, thanks for the advice, I have got myself a passkey and updated my drivers which seems to have helped. When I checked this morning my ppd was estimating 232000 which is a massive increase. Thanks again.

Don't forget that you won't see the increased points in the stats until you've successfully completed (and returned) at least 8 out of qualifying 10 WUs (Core_15's don't count) with the passkey.
FAHControl can see whether you have a passkey or not and calculate the PPD accordingly, but it has no idea whether you have met the 8/10 requirement.

Correction, you will need to complete 10 WU's before getting the quick return bonus (QRB) and after that maintain an 80% successful completion rate of assigned bonus eligible WU's. Bonus eligible WU's are CPU assignments using cores A3 through A5, and GPU projects using core 17 or higher.
