Re: Need some help
Is there a folding@home shortcut in your startup folder? Is fahclient.exe running? If not, you opted out of the auto start feature during install. Start it using the shortcut in the FAHClient start menu folder.

Re: Need some help
I have not yet installed the Yosemite version of the Mac OS, so do not have direct experience with F@H installed in that environment. There are a couple questions to ask though. Did you install F@H using an administrator account and in the default location? Did you follow the directions in the OS X Installation Guide?
Using Activity Monitor after installing should show a FAHClient process running and if a WU is being processed a FAHCore process. By default they should show as being run by user "nobody". Beyond that, a log file is kept in the data folder for F@H, directions for accessing it and posting the file are here - viewtopic.php?p=261084&f=24#p261084.
