I have successfully got F@H running on my laptop, but when I try to run it on my desktop it always hangs at 'loading protein' in the visualizer. The log gives me the above error. Any help would be appreciated. My machine:
FX 8320 @ 4.1 GHz (not sure if an overclock will mess with settings)
MSI R9 270x
8GB Team Vulcan RAM @ 1600mhz
Windows 8.1 Enterprise

In the 'status' tab of advanced control it says it is waiting on 'fahCore update'

Beside the core upgrade error please also keep in mind that core 17 (GPU) is not providing data to FAHViewer ... There is an incident ticket for it raised.

So the client isn't recognizing either my CPU or my GPU? How would I go about troubleshooting / fixing this? I've tried searching the forums / google and I'm having trouble finding info.
