Hi everyone,
so, my problem is actually this: my i7 2600k, overclocked to 4.4Ghz, is actually putting out about 2500-3000ppd. Hyperthreading is activate, and my RAM is in dual channel mode (2x4Gb 1866Mhz). I can't figure out the problem, plus, i can't get a new passkey via e-mail (the email just doesn't show up!).
I'm using latest client and project is 9006.
Please help me
Do you have a passkey ?
Might ask a mod via PM to check if you are below 80% limit of successful returned WU to keep the key qualified ?
You would need to send them your donor ID and passkey. Don't post here in public
Oh, and can you post the first 100 lines of log file ? Until after the config data and few lines into a running WU ?

Thanks for your reply Christian!
I had verbosity set to 0 so my log is empty right now. I've set now to 3, and I'll' wait until my wu finish (about 1hr) then i'll post the log, right?
Hmm, as the base points are 216 for that project but you got 571 I would guess you had some QRB, not much though.
Can you please post the full run ? How long the was total processing time ? Did you paused in between ? Was your PC busy with something else ? Also the fist 100 lines with system data and config ...

Few questions: 1) how can i post the full run? (and what does it means?)
2) what's QRB?
3) where do i copy the first 100 lines with system data and config?
sorry for being a newbie, i just want to learn something
and no, i didn't paused between, the process to change from a WU to another was about 5 minutes or so, even less, and my pc was only used for folding and reading a .pdf document because i was studying
1) how can i post the full run? (and what does it means?)
Full run I mean from the start of the WU until end. Seeing all those lines with "completed" or at least to see the timestamp for start and stop will help to understand better. There will be somewhere a line with "requesting project 9006 run:1296"; from there until you shows in the log earlier.
2) what's QRB?
quick return bonus; normally you get base points for a finished WU; but if you send back long before some given deadlines you get more points (much more points). It require a qualified passkey.
3) where do i copy the first 100 lines with system data and config?
Just post it in here; within the code-brackets.

No problem at all! that's why we are here. Everyone once started; And believe me, I'm learning too every day. Glad you joined.

thank you!
So, the full run now means i have to wait 14 hours (long new project!) but i have to leave the house and shut down the pc
Anyway, will try to do it on the next WU (hopefully will be little less long)
another thing: by writing "where do i copy the first 100 lines with system data and config?" i meant "where do i copy them from?", because i don't know where to find them
Where did you got the first log file from ? The one you posted earlier ? Same place. Ideally from FAHcontrol program; easiest access. And no need to wait until current WU finished.
Ah, wait: once you restarted the client a new log will be created. Under Windows you might find the log file somewhere here "C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient\log.txt" Not 100% sure as I'm folding under Linux.
Hardware configuration: Intel i7-4770K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR3-2133 Corsair Vengence (black/red), EVGA GTX 760 @ 1200 MHz, on an Asus Maximus VI Hero MB (black/red), in a blacked out Antec P280 Tower, with a Xigmatek Night Hawk (black) HSF, Seasonic 760w Platinum (black case, sleeves, wires), 4 SilenX 120mm Case fans with silicon fan gaskets and silicon mounts (all black), a 512GB Samsung SSD (black), and a 2TB Black Western Digital HD (silver/black).
Just stop wasting all this time CV. We don't need to wait 14 hours for a full log.
Take the log example already posted, plug the frame time in to the bonus calculator YOU posted, and get the PPD. That will give you something to work with.
Then get the answer to one of your original questions. Does Firechris fold full time 24/7, or is the client shut down part of the day.
Then use the bollix link to get only the System and Config sections of the log that already exist right now, not 14 hours from now.

According to the frame times in your log the 9006 should have taken less than 2 hours to complete. The database shows that it took almost a day to complete. Is something else taking up your cpu cycles? Are you shutting down for periods of time? Do you have your power options set to maximum performance so that your computer doesn't hibernate or sleep?
As for the lack of bonus there appears to be something wrong in your setup. That's why we asked for the System Info and Config sections of your log in case we can spot the reason. The link I posted above shows how to find and post that information. Have you checked your passkey? Sometimes when using copy/paste an extra space can be inadvertently added at the beginning or end which gives you a new passkey that would have to be qualified again.
When we request a new passkey sometimes the email ends up in the spam/junk folder and you might have to go online to your email provider to check that folder if they don't automatically download spam to your email client (gmail is just one example). Keep in mind you don't need a new passkey for each client ... you can use the same one for all clients.
