171.64.65.69 fahcore_17 server slow download speeds

It started happening from yesterday (Saturday). fahcore finishes the WU, uploads the results and fahlog says cleaning up, and that is it. I restart the client, and it starts downloading the new WU, and speeds are dial up speeds, and if I am lucky it completes the download, or if I am not, it does not and gets stuck at various percentages.
I have two systems with 3 fahcore_17 folders, all of them had an issue. Just woke up and found one of them folding, and two of them stuck at downloading:

I'm in UK, on Virgin Media Fibre with 1.2MB/s(10Mbits) Upload and 12MB/s (120Mbits) download speeds.
Latest Fahclient, 14.1 beta drivers. win 8.1 64bit

Update: in order to force them slots to start downloading again is to restart the client, BUT when I quit fahclient through fahcontrol, and start it again, it does not start doing anything with gpu slots. If I quit through fahcontrol systray icon, fahclient.exe*32 is still sitting doing nothing, even if I wait for it to kill itself, nope. So I kill that process through task manager, and start fahcontrol again, it starts downloading, slowly.

Update#2: it seems that download speeds from this server are back to normal. It takes just a split second to get the WU now. But I would really want someone from PG investigate the issue, I don't really like wasting time doing nothing with my GPUs, especially when 14.1 drivers brought quite a boost for us
