FahCore_17.exe keeps crashing

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though NVidia has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

FahCore_17.exe keeps crashing

Post by Mitche01 »

Hello,

I keep getting an error with FahCore_17.exe and it stops working. Then when I start up I have a difference between HFM.net and FaH client v7.3.6 (one says 34% and stays there while the client keeps growing and restarting at 40% but the log says 34%!)

Code: Select all

You have set client-type beta. I don't think this is a beta test problem, but try removing the beta flag first and then post a new log here.

The beta flag is not the problem. The problem is that beta is not supported in this public section of the forum. You would need to join the beta team and then post your question in the beta section of the forum.

Beta projects are more likely to have problems than non-beta projects. The fact that one client may have gotten an unstable WU and the other one didn't does not prove that the beta flag is not the problem. If you're not prepared to deal with those instabilites, do not run with the beta flag. If you are prepared, it needs to be reported in the beta forum. In any case, WE CANNOT SUPPORT BETA PROJECTS HERE.

My apologies if I have made people angry!

The crashes I had have now resolved them selves by a re-install of driver 320.49.

PS - Can I ask site admin to move my post to Beta area?

Thanks

Nobody's angry (except maybe you because you couldn't get the help you were looking for). I'm glad you found the problem.

Erm I am not angry either. I managed to resolve my issue before we explored it any further. I am sorry I infered I was angry...not sure how that was picked up!?

I will no longer post here for my beta issues...my apologies.
Thank you for your time.
