Disconnecting Internet while folding?

Post by Qinsp »

Am I still allowed to disconnect the internet to a folding machine, then plug it back in later on in the job, before the SEND function hits?

I believe you can. Just be sure not to forget to plug it back in because the larger the time gap between the work unit finishing and the internet connection being restored, the longer the period of time before the client tries to send the WU back. I believe it goes from a few seconds the first few tries to over 3 hours before long.

Thanks@! I put one machine in the warehouse, and had to run hard cable to it. I don't want anyone to trip.

Right. Because someone tripping on that cable might cause the folding box to fall over. ;)
